@Disturbance first came to life at its inaugural October 2020 event. After worldwide lockdowns,
it was the first physical show that any of the artists – and most of the audience – had attended since
March. It was so powerful for us to welcome guests back in person. A bespoke live stream was also provided
alongside, to ensure maximum accessibility for all audiences.
Hosted and filmed in Ugly Duck’s atmospheric Victorian-era warehouse, @Disturbance First Edition was a
powerful, emotional event. It reunited distant communities split up by lockdowns, and gave artists deprived
of their physical workshops a space for creativity at last.
For this first edition, we collaborated with some incredible artists, listed below, who set a high benchmark
the October 2020 @Disturbance showcase and all events since.
